This data protection declaration informs users about the type, scope and purposes of the collection and use of personal data by the responsible provider Ministry for Economics The legal fundamentals of data protection can be found in the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

We make it possible for interested parties to contact us by means of special online forms, by telephone inquiry or by post. Personal data is collected in order to respond to inquiries.

A passing on of personal data to third parties or a use beyond the processing of the inquiry only takes place on legal claim or in legal implementation according to § 11 BDSG. If forwarding to third parties is necessary to answer the request, the consent of the party making the request is deemed to have been granted.

Access data / server log files

The provider (or its web space provider) collects data about each access to the offer (so-called server logfiles). Access data includes the following

transferred data volume
Message whether the call was successful
Browser type and version
the operating system of the user
Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
IP address

The provider uses the log data exclusively for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of the offer. However, the provider reserves the right to check the log data at a later date if there is a justified suspicion of illegal use.

Handling of personal data

Personal data is information that can be used to identify a person, i. e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, e-mail address or telephone number. Personal data also includes information about preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites have been viewed by someone else. Personal data will only be collected, used and passed on by the provider if this is permitted by law or if the user consents to the data collection.

When contacting the provider (e. g. by means of a contact form or e-mail) the user’s details are stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event that follow-up questions arise.

Public Directory of Procedures

In accordance with § 4g BDSG, the data protection officer must make the information specified in § 4e BDSG available in an appropriate manner upon request. We comply with this obligation immediately and therefore waive your individual application.

Recipients or categories of recipients to whom the data may be communicated

  • Public authorities that receive data on the basis of statutory regulations (e. g. social security agencies, authorities)
  • Internal units involved in the execution of the respective business processes (personnel management, accounting, marketing, sales, telecommunications and IT)
  • External entities that are involved in the processing of business processes (partners of the business processes specified in the business processes)
  • External contractors according to § 11 BDSG
  • Credit institutions and tax office (salary payments, payment transactions within the scope of the designated business processes)
  • Insurance within the scope of company pension plans

Standard periods for the deletion of data

Data will be deleted after expiry of the legal, statutory or contractual retention periods. Data that is not subject to the obligation to retain will be deleted after the earmarking described above has ceased.
